🌿 ABOUT ME

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, grounded, and genuinely human.

I’m Kim, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a relational, creative, and integrative approach to therapy. I work with individuals, couples, families, and children to support emotional healing, self-understanding, and more fulfilling relationships - with others and with yourself.

In addition to my private practice, I work as a therapist at a residential addiction treatment center, supporting individuals and families impacted by addiction, trauma, mood disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and relational challenges. This includes working with veterans and first responders navigating high-stress roles and cumulative trauma. This work has deepened my respect for human resilience and the many ways healing can unfold during periods of crisis and transition.

I also specialize in working with neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults. My approach is strengths-based, developmentally attuned, and often experiential - incorporating play, art, music, drama, and hands-on skill building. I focus on supporting emotional regulation, self-understanding, relational skills, and honoring each person’s unique way of engaging with the world.

My clinical work is grounded in psychology and attachment theory, with a strong emphasis on nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, and relational patterns. I approach therapy as a collaborative and flexible process, rather than a one-size-fits-all model.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade working in high-level corporate environments as an executive and legal assistant. This experience informs my work with professionals navigating burnout, perfectionism, identity shifts, and life transitions.

Alongside my clinical work, I’m a lifelong musician, singer-songwriter, performer, and writer. Creativity shapes how I understand people and approach therapy - especially when working with creatives and highly sensitive individuals navigating self-expression, performance anxiety, and questions of meaning. When appropriate, I integrate creative and experiential techniques to support insight beyond talk alone.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy movement and dance, time in nature, and exploring new places - practices that help me stay grounded, present, and connected in both life and work.

🌙 Why I Do This Work

I’ve always felt drawn to understanding people - connecting with them in ways that go beneath the surface, and making sense of what isn’t always immediately visible.

I’m naturally attuned to the emotional and relational layers people carry. This work, at its core, is about helping you feel less alone - to feel seen and understood more fully, and to reconnect with yourself in a deeper, more meaningful way.

I also believe growth often means stepping into unfamiliar or uncomfortable territory. Part of my role is to support that process - gently challenging patterns while helping you stay grounded and connected along the way.

I offer a collaborative, supportive space to help you feel more clear, connected, and grounded.
If this resonates, I invite you to reach out and see if working together feels like a good fit.
